Ace writer Kona Venkat had a plan to direct his friend and favorite
hero Power Star Pawan Kalyan thus beginning his directorial career. He
prepared the script and approached Pawan recently. Even Power Star liked
the subject but told his friend to wait for some time.
As per the reports we hear, Pawan also told Kona to prove himself by directing a short film before handling him. The hilarious writer will have to prove this and soon making his ‘Test Project’ (Short Film) with new comers. Kona is now in the process of scouting for actors. This short film will be produced by Vamsi Madiraju and Ram Goli of USA on the banner of Laughing Buddha entertainments.
Actually, Pawan thought of giving ‘Kobali’ to Kona but due to some other reasons he handed the project to Trivikram Srinivas who is currently directing Atharintiki Daaredi. Kona’s fight with Srinu Vaitla is one of the reasons for Pawan to keep him on wait. We wish Kona all the best for his ‘Short Film’ that should get him the offer to direct Pawan.
