Speaking about his association with the Mega Hero, Ali told,"Pawan Kalyan is one of the best person he ever met in his life. He has got only few friends and I am one among them. Pawan beats mahesh

A recent survey came as a shock to the people who were having a wrong perception that Mahesh Babu is an undisputed king of Overseas.

According to the survey, Pawan Kalyan is way ahead of Superstar in term of fan following. These results shows how dangerous Powerstar could turn out to other stars of his league when given one solid hit. Looking at the line-up of films (Trivikram's untitled flick, Gabbar Singh 2), one gets the feel that there seems to be no looking back for Pawan and he is going to occupy the throne for the next few years.

Interestingly, 3 out of the Top 5 spots have been occupied by Telugu stars. While Ram Charan settled for the 4th place, Vijay and Ajith occupied 3rd and 5th spots respectively.

Anchor Anasuya irritating Mega fans

Post the super success of Jabardasth comedy show, anchor Anasuya has become hot favorite in film circles and leading filmmakers have been waiting for her call sheets of late. However, the small screen seductress is enjoying her loose talk rather than signing the big ticket films offered to her.

Earlier, Anasuya declared she said no to Pawan Kalyan (Atharitiki Daredi) as she wants to play roles which give her scope for displaying her acting prowess. And now, it's the turn of another mega hero to face rejection. 'I have said no to Allu Arjun (Race Gurram) as I was asked to shoot for the film during the period I will be going on vacation with family,' commented the actress, turning down the offer which has good scope for acting.

Why Anasuya has been projecting the rejection of film offers as rejecting the star heroes? What for she is using the names of Mega Heroes? Does she feels claiming to have rejecting a top star's film helps her image to grow? Many questions have to be answered!

Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'iddarammayilatho' collected superb shares at the end of its first week run world wide. Some of the records set by the movie are as follows.

* In AP, 'IA' collected Rs.21.08 crores. Bunny's previous film 'Julayi' collected Rs.20.20 crores.

* Two movies of Allu Arjun in a row crossed Rs.7 crores share each in Nizam area and they are 'Julayi-7.20 crores and 'IA-7.25 crores.

* In Nandyal, the movie created town record with Rs.13,81,000 lakhs share. Previous record was 'Rachcha' with Rs.13,44,000 lakhs share.

* In Vijayanagaram, the movie collected Rs.23,31,571 gross( town record) for 124 shows. Previous record was set by 'Baadshah' with Rs.20,89,337 lakhs gross for 182 shows.

* In Rajahmundry,the movie collected Rs.27.80 lakhs share. Here 'Julayi' collected Rs.27.50 while 'Baadshah' collected Rs.26.50 lakhs.

* The movie collected superb shares in Krishna area with Tenali-14,50,000, Chirala-5,92,000 and Ongole-27,00,000 lakhs respectively.

Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu romantic-thriller Iddarammayilatho has raked in Rs 8.01 crore on the first day in Andhra Pradesh. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film released on May 31. The premier show in US on Thursday, on the other side, made $82,008 (around Rs 46,39,192). The weekend collection in India seemed good. On Saturday, it made about Rs 9 crores, and on Sunday, it went up to making a little more than Rs 10 crores. The weekend collection in India increased by the day, but that was not the case with the US collections.

Iddarammayilatho, featuring Allu Arjun, Amala Paul, Catherine Tresa, Bramhanandam, Nassar and many others, started out with very high expectations. But with the mixed reviews from critics all over might have affected the Box Office collection of the movie. Produced by Bandla Ganesh, the film is the second collaboration between Puri and Arjun after Telugu blockbuster Desamuduru. Iddarammayilatho has fared well than most of the big films released in the last two months. The film's collections (so far) were much better than Venkatesh's Shadow, which earned a total of just Rs 16.52 lakh from 52 screens in the opening weekend. The film also performed slightly better than Nagarjuna's Greeku Veerudu, which earned Rs 92.54 lakh from 49 screens during the first weekend.

Puri will never direct Pawan ??

Filmnagar circles have been abuzz with the rumors that Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannath have not been on talking terms lately. Sources say that the actor and director parted ways on the sets of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu and since then all is not well between the two.

Recently, the director revealed about his spat with Pawan Kalyan and he decided not to work with actor hereafter. He also said that he doesn't like to get into the details of the issue as he feels that the mood for Allu Arjun's (Pawan Kalyan's nephew) project would be disturbed.

Puri made his directorial directed with Pawan Kalyan-starrer Badri (2000). The film went on to become a huge hit and both teamed up again after 12 years for Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, which failed to impress.  

Ram charan's Yevadu shooting progress

Ram Charan starrer Yevadu new schedule is planned to be shot in Bangkok, Thailand. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in the movie and Amy Jackson is playing second fiddle to her.

A song was earlier canned on Ram Charan and Shruti in Swiss locales after which the unit members have partaken in a Hyderabad schedule. Now, the film is being shot in Bangkok with which major shoot gets completed.

Yevadu is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations. Devi Sri Prasad is providing the tunes. Yevadu will release by the end of July.

Pawan sings again

This piece of news would definitely be music to the ears of all Pawan Kalyan fans. If sources are to be believed, actor Pawan Kalyan is all set to get into the recording room once again and lend his vocals to a song from his forthcoming film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Currently, the Power Star is busy shooting for the film at brisk pace in a private studio on the outskirts of the city.

According to a close source of the unit, PK took the call to sing only a few days ago. "The song was filmed on Pawan Kalyan and other artistes, a couple of days ago. After seeing the rushes, PK decided to lend his vocals to the track. He will record it soon," says the source. Though the makers haven't announced the official title of the film yet, sources claim they have zeroed in on Atharintiki Daredi. Touted to be a family entertainer, the film will see Samantha playing the female lead and Nadiya playing her mother.
